Inlays: Inlays are similar to fillings but slightly larger. They take care of decay that has spread within the cusp of a tooth.
Onlays: If decay has spread beyond the cusp of the tooth, onlays are needed.
An advantage of inlays and onlays is tooth stability; they don’t expand like fillings, and they provide a natural-looking restoration.
Bridges: Missing teeth? A bridge is an excellent option for those who are not a candidate for dental implants. It involves multiple crowns attached to fill in the space of the missing teeth. They are bonded to the neighboring teeth, look natural, and are unnoticeable to others.

- You can eat your favorite foods – pain-free
- It’s easier to speak clearly without slurring or mumbling your words
- Implants stop jawbone deterioration and the process of getting a facial “sunken” look
- You can smile and laugh with confidence without hesitation
- Dental implants can last a lifetime with the proper care
We place AND restore implants under one roof!
The implant process involves placing a post within the jawbone. Normally, you would need to see a specialist for this surgery. However, Dr. Melkers received the training and experience to place implants right in the office, allowing you to see the same dentist from start to finish.
Once the post fuses with the jawbone, the abutment is screwed on, and a crown is placed. In the end, you’ll have a beautiful, functioning smile – free from missing teeth.
