Roger McWilliams, D.M.D., Ph.D.
Dr. McWilliams has practiced dentistry and been an active leader of the Upper Valley community for over three decades. Getting to know generations of families, and helping them grow up with healthy smiles has been a uniquely rewarding experience for him.
After completing his undergraduate studies at Colgate, Dr. McWilliams earned his Doctorate in Dental Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, and continued his studies there by completing a certificate in Internal Medicine, Board Certification in Oral Medicine and a Ph. D. in Pathology. He is particularly proud that Lyme Road Dental has a loyal patient population who recognize that dental health is an integral part of their health care one of the key pieces of a lifetime of good health.
Helping patients learn to care for their for teeth and helping fellow medical practitioners advance their ability to care for patients are extremely important to him. Before moving to Hanover and joining a practice first started by Dr. Small in 1947, Dr. McWilliams taught at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, and since 1981 has served as an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Surgery at Dartmouth Medical School.
When he is not helping patients, teaching or chasing his grandchildren, Dr. McWilliams takes full advantage of his surroundings the Upper Valley be it on a bike, on a trail, or on the golf course.
